Escape Mail is a family friendly adventure (all content is PG). The difficulty of Escape Mail is suitable for anyone 10 years or older, but playing with an adult is recommended for anyone under the age of 14.
There are 2 difficulties to choose from as well (Standard & Expert). Unless you have solved many escape room games before, or you're a sucker for punishment, we recommend starting with the Standard difficulty.
There is access to tiered hints online. Regardless of the difficulty level you choose, you can always access multiple hints (and the solution) with every puzzle along the way.
Everything you need to solve the puzzle is included in your envelope, with the exception of a pencil and an internet-connected device. Some episodes will also require scissors and tape.
Escape Mail games are different. There's no doubt about it. Just ask Nicholas L who said, "I’m not someone who normally would have chosen an escape room style game; but it has been so much fun trying something new with my wife." What do people love about Escape Mail?
A Running Storyline: You can lose yourself in the mystery over 12 months as each episode connects to the one before it, including plots twists, clever connections, and Easter eggs!.

So much fun !
I’ve never done an escape room before but I’ve always wanted to try, and with this it was great! We did this for date night and it was so much fun!
Thanks Ann, just shared this with the team and we all gave a cheer!
My team really enjoyed the activity; good way to bring people together around a common challenge. Some groups found it quite challenging, but we feel that the more we do these activities, the better they will get! Definitely interested in another episode as part of our team meetings (we need to know what happened to JJ!). I would certainly recommend this to others.
Great fun! The puzzles are unique and diverse, and the amount of different ideas they fit inside a standard size envelope is very impressive - plus there are online interactive elements and story videos too. Each episode is completely different and really tests our puzzle solving skills. Give it a try!
We had a lot of fun playing episode 1 on zoom: 11 family members from 3 generations (aged 84 to 17), playing together from Alberta and Quebec. The game led to just the right amount of intrigue, confusion, bamboozlement, laughter, excitement, and a collective sense of accomplishment! Even for those of us whose main roles were to hold the flashlight and take notes, remind people to turn their mics on, and say, "isn't it time for a clue?" It was very well put-together, with things to manipulate, puzzle over, and find online. And it ended in the most perfect way! We are hooked.
Was SO pleased with the first episode! Wouldn't have thought beforehand that you could pack such a variety of ideas and puzzles in (and on ;-)) a normal envelope. At first I sat at a loss in front of all the content, but when a beginning was found, things went quite well. I hope that the following episodes can keep this quality or maybe even improve it! The subscription was definitely a good decision!
